Moderation is a large part of our identity at Spaniel and what has given the opportunity to expand. With over a decade of moderation experience we have amassed a phenomenal grasp on approach and delivery within this sector.
We offer an array of moderation services across various platforms, and have the capacity to oversee events or one-off shows of any given size. Our speciality lies in automated procedures. The provision of advanced-chat moderation with our own complex regular expression and other formula based filtering allows us to provide the highest degree of precision with our actions, whilst performing them at rapid speed.
Platforms include: Discord, Facebook, Twitch and YouTube.
Over the years we have been fortunate enough to bolster our portfolio of clients and events. This experience has allowed us to tailor our methods and identify factors in the early stages of relationship to better then for the future.
Outside of our regular clientele we have provided our services to events such as this year's inaugural eCommonwealth Games in collaboration with FACEIT.
Over a two period we assisted both OS Studios and Engine Shop in their delivery of eMLS broadcasts. This included their regular season, as well as various celebrity supported shows.
In further assistance of Engine Shop we worked on their account with the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society to deliver a Discord server and fundraising campaign to raise awareness and provide support to both patients and family members currently or previously suffering from this horrible disease.
We have assisted PGL Esports across several global broadcasts over the years including most recently their numerous Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2 Majors. We are very proud of this ongoing relationship and hope to add them to our full time client roster in the near future.
Over several years Frederick and Will in particular have worked with Valve Corporation on moderation to help to deliver Dota 2's The International - one of the biggest esport events of the year. In the summer of 2022 we are very proud to announce we have been appointed to oversee all English and Russian broadcasts, whilst providing automated services for their further Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish broadcasts. This project sees us work in collaboration with PGL Esports, as well as Valve Corporation.
In May of 2021 we began our preparations for WePlay Esports’ first global event, as well as the first anime-themed Dota 2 event. There was no doubt this would be a highly watched event. After a lot of deliberation with WePlay we were able to finalise our guidelines for this event. It was a huge success, at the time breaking the viewership record for a Dota 2 Major. Furthering on from this spectacle, we continued our relationship on a number of different events from Counter Strike: Global Offensive to Rocket League.
In 2020 as we took charge of Ubisoft's moderation on all Rainbow Six Siege broadcasts. Our relationship with them began with a showcase of the prestigious Six Invitational. Since then we have worked on a large number of events including the regular Pro League, as well as Majors and further Invitationals. We thoroughly enjoy these events and look forward to many more successes in the future.
In March of 2022 we were contacted to resolve the difficulties Electronic Arts had been having with their FIFA broadcasts. This resolvement involved in modernising moderation practices and honing in on contextual topics which have previously been looked over. As we approached the end of the competitive season we oversaw some superb events including the eChampions League. We look ahead to the new season and new challenges to continue our work with them.
